When I was talking to the Baba in Pandu Gumfa, Gangotri, he asked, what brings me to the Himalayas and he himself answered “Himalaya Kheechta Hain”… means Himalaya attracts… And so true are his words…once one gets the taste of this mythical land protecting us for centuries, he just can’t stay away from finding an excuse to venture once again and once again and once again and every time this land presents herself with a different layer of canvas, with a different story, with a fresher look and one lifetime is just not enough to cherish the vastness of this mythical land…

So why is it so special than other mountains that people from across the globe long to come at least once? … To me, it’s due to the blend of myth, history, legends, people, vastness, vistas and difficulties that it presents to one which hardly one can find anywhere on earth…

And that’s what our Himalayas is… 🙂
